Anyone care about GTA V anymore?

It seems like GTA V interest has dropped around here. Did it really lose coolness that fast? I got GTA IV over the summer and it's still fun for me. I still haven't played GTA V, my parents won't let me get a console and they haven't released a pc version yet. (They won't let be buy an xbox, but a murder simulator is cool. Ok.) Just curious, here's a 918 for your time.

anbd yea, tht usually happens. big games are big for about 2-3 weeks. cus everyone hypes it up SO FRIGGEN MUCH that when it does come out, its a bit dissapointing and it losses intrest pretty fast

I'd play it, but I don't have live anymore, and because of school, I can no longer justify buying XBL. I'd play, but money.

Ah I remember fighting like hell for an original Playstation in the late 90's. Parents can be the worst sometimes. I still play GTAV, but only for like a half hour every other day (if that). Once I get around to picking up GT6 I'm sure that number will go down even more.

Had a good run for a little bit over a month and then it grew stale, mostly because tons of promised content is still missing from GTAO. My Live membership ran out on the 26th and I got a PS3 and GT6 last weekend so yeah.

We still like it; I missed out on most of the hype since I was busy with college and have about two weeks before that's the case again. Everyone here who has it for the Xbox 360 was posting about Online when it launched, and they're still somewhat active. Not much going on with the PS3 crowd, which I'm part of.

I figure that interest in the game will pick back up when Online finally has Heists and the story mode DLC is made available.

Haven't played much lately but that's mostly due to family visiting during the holidays.

I'm a Driver guy, so... yeah.

I might've picked up GTA V if I owned a console though, but my opinion about the series has always been that, while the stunt oriented driving is pretty good, the game doesn't focus on it enough to catch my attention. Most of the time, you just drive from point A to point B, complete a mission at B, then drive back to A to save and whatnot. It's fun, but it's not as fun as when driving IS the mission, and, judging from my experience with GTA SA, evading the cops or not starting a chase at all is just too easy... The gang wars segment at the start of SA saw me mowing down hundreds of enemy gang members in front of the cops and my wanted level didn't even show up.

I don't have it but have played it over at my friends house a few times. In my opinion it gets a bit boring after a while. The best thing to do is just mess around with your friends with cheat codes. With a friend and cheat codes, the possibilities are endless and the fun goes on for hours lol

But personally, I'd wait for it to drop in price (that's what I'm doing).

I haven been on recently because I had family in town for the holidays and then I came upon the holy grail that is Automation. But I haven't given up on it, nor do I think it has lost its cool.

I still play. But often crew members just blow me and my buddies up, so I'm slowly losing interest.

They need to add the heists soon or its just going to be lobby after lobby of hackers and rich jerks.

ME! :D I love gta v, the only reason its dropped is the new consoles, witch is silly seeing as honestly..there not that much better (I mean, yeah, they are, but they arent..if that makes sense)

I still put in at least an hour a day on GTA online. I'm ridiculously flush with cash after some random gave me 146 million, which has taken some of the fun out of progression.

I'm finding less people wanting to do missions though.

I still play, but I get network errors all over the place when I try to connect to sessions. Still happening even after I replaced my 10 year old WRT54G with a new Netgear box.

I had it for the 360 and traded the game and the system thinking I can buy the game for the xbox one, turns out they aren't making GTA V for the Xbox one. Bullshit.

I liked Saints Row 3 a lot, Saints Row 4 was a bit too over the top for me. I guess it kind of has to be though, to differentiate itself from the GTA series.

I've been playing Battlefield 4 the past couple weeks, and have been working since last Friday so haven't had any more time to play. I would love to get more into it by joining the Oppo crew, since strangers normally just screw you over. That's what I love about Battlefield, there is normally some kind of team cooperation.

I did not find any fun in the Online mode, and after I finished the main story plus most of the side missions I pretty much lost interest. I don't know what happened, around the time of GTA3 I did not have PC powerful enough to play it, but got one for Vice City, I was still in school back then and I remember playing this all summer. When GTA San Andreas came out I probably played it for a year, even though maybe only one hour per week, but I was able to spend a night just in the skate/bmx park doing trick jumps. In gta 5 you have several bike parks, better ones than in SA, yet somehow it is not as much fun (you were able to exp. the cycling skill and at the end jump quite high, gta5 is not as fun on bmx anymore). The airport in gta5 is big, and you can fly the big jets and all, yet I was expecting something more in gta5, more jets, more interaction. Maybe the game simply got old, maybe it really needs a next gen and PC release because even though it is one of the best looking games on a console with hardware that on PC would barely run san andreas, the lack of hardware power certainly does not any good to the game. WHat bugs me most is the "same car" problem that is there since Vice City, and probably since gta3 but I wouldn't know that... you drive a car XY, and 60% cars around, wherever you go, are the same car you drive currently. Funny thing is upon reaching about 50% progress in the story I did not see that at all, suddenly it happened like in all the old games. It is pretty annoying though when you are running from the cops in damn slow and slidey SUV and want to switch to something else, anything really, even a cab would be better and all you see is the same SUV you are driving at the moment.

And thing that bugs me most is that if I crash my 1,5 million jet, I can go back to the airport and there it is again. If I lose my 1mil car, or die in it, I have a little chance to find it in the police garage, but most of the time it is lost forever. So I have few expensive cars in garages, that I occasionaly take out for spin around the block, but never drive it too far because I am not sure if I will be able to store the cars safely again. You have to turn off the auto-save to be able to resume to the state where your cars are in still in the garage. I want the same system as is for the main character's car, that you can take 20 feet from the character's house, set it on fire, turn around and the car is there again.
